GL Caissie’s story began in 1957 when M Gérard Caissie settled in Richibucto to set up shop after being successful in the construction industry. At the time, Louis Caissie made a name for himself for being an exceptional well-driller and prank-master general. 

Louis loved playing friendly and harmless pranks on his customers and employees alike. Even today, when Rhéal (the current CEO), goes to customers’ houses, he often hears crazy stories about his Grandpa Louis.

This is where we attribute our reputation and culture of being the friendliest HVAC-R service company in the world! As we like to believe.

To Gérard, setting up shop in Richibucto seemed like the right thing to do. 65 years later, the family is sure glad he chose the beautiful town of Richibucto and Kent County.
